Life has ups and downs and therapy may help you remain more balanced regardless of circumstances. The result may be increased self-confidence and feelings of well-being. Evidenced-based Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are integral to my broader approach. To promote insight, movies and TV shows may be incorporated into therapy,
Clients who choose to work with me are interested in finding solutions to their problems and understanding their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they may be more psychologically free, more effectively clarify and reach their goals, and enhance their ability to be meaningfully productive, self-confident, and beneficial.

Cooking, baking, writing, traveling, reading, rebounding on my Bellicon, watching TV and movies and brisk walks in nature are my go-to activities. Favored domestic tasks are a toss up between folding laundry and vacuuming :-). Currently enjoying the brain training apps Elevate, Lumosity, and Brainwell.
Fun fact: My wonderful dad was a chef and, with my beautiful mom, co-owner of a casual Italian restaurant in the West Village in NYC in the 1980s. One of our regular customers was actor James Coco. My family and I fondly remember him and his kind, friendly and gracious nature.
